9th and 10th grade School Counselor/ College Test Prep Instructor—Full Time  

The mission of Notre Dame High School is to educate young women (9th-12th grade) from diverse backgrounds to become confident, compassionate Christian leaders. Each student is guided to reach the fullness of her potential and to use her gifts to make a difference in the world around her.

Job Description:

• Support freshmen and sophomores with social, emotional, and academic situations as they arise

• Member of the School Counseling Department

• Member of the school’s CARE team 

• Administer the Freshman and Sophomore Guidance Curriculum by meeting with each grade level once per academic cycle (6 days) 

• Freshman Registration Coordinator: support 9th graders during the Spring semester to select their courses for their Sophomore year  

• Assist with Freshman and Sophomore standardized testing

• Teach ACT Prep to Juniors during Spring semester 

• Assist with other school counseling duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field (psychology or social work).
