Notre Dame High School will now use PRIVIT for all MSHSAA and ND athletic paperwork. No paper forms will be accepted. Parents must create an account then fill out and upload all documents on PRIVIT. Students will not be allowed to try out unless they are cleared through PRIVIT.

Winter Sports Tryout Information

 Basketball

Tryouts for Basketball will begin Monday, November 4. Players should meet in the gym after school. Tryouts will be held from 3:30-5:30 pm. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 4-6 at Notre Dame. Due to the play using the gym Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 7-10, practices will be held off campus Nov. 7-8. More information about the times and location of those practices will be provided soon. Players should bring shorts, basketball shoes and their own water bottle.  

Swimming 

The first Swim Team Practice/Meeting will be held Monday, November 11 at 3:30 pm in the gym lobby.  All swimmers must attend this meeting to discuss the upcoming season and to try on suits to ensure proper sizing.  There will also be a Parent Meeting at 7 pm Monday, November 18  at Affton High School. This meeting will take the place of the Notre Dame Winter Sports Parent Meeting that is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19. 

Cheerleading:

Tryouts for Cheerleading will be held Monday-Thursday, November 11-14 at the following times: 

• Monday, November 11: 5:30-7:00 (Cheerleaders should meet in the gym lobby at 5:00 pm)

• Tuesday, November 12: 3:30-5:30

• Wednesday, November 13: 5:30-

• Thursday, November 14: 3:30-5:30

Racquetball

Students wanting to play Racquetball for Notre Dame this year should contact Coach Cayla Rohde at 314-578-7433 or email her at crohde@ndhs.net to get more information about specific times and locations of tryouts and practices. 

In order to participate in tryouts all athletes must have a valid physical uploaded on their Privit account and have all of the rest of the permission slips and forms electronically signed in Privit. If an athlete played a fall sport she can simply add her name to the winter sports roster and all of the necessary information will transfer to the new sport. Please have all Privit information updated by Wednesday, October 30 to allow time for the athletes to be fully cleared. Please mark your calendars for the Winter Sports Parent Meeting that will be held at 6 pm Tuesday, November 19 in the Café. This meeting is for the parents of basketball players, racquetball players and cheerleaders. The swim team is having it’s own Parent Meeting November 18 at the Affton High School pool. The Parent Meeting on November 19 will provide the opportunity to learn more about the Notre Dame athletics in general and parents will also have the chance to meet with the coaching staffs of the sports to get more specific information about basketball, cheerleading and racquetball programs. The $150 Athletic Fee may be paid that night by cash or check or by venmo @NotreDameRebels-STL. The fee may also be paid by credit card or added to the tuition by calling Colleen Politte in the Finance Office at Notre Dame.
