Spirituality
As a high school sponsored by the School Sisters of Notre Dame and rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the spiritual formation of our students is of utmost importance. Our mission is to accompany them on their spiritual journey so that they leave Notre Dame with a deep sense that God loves them and they have been created with great purpose. The faculty of NDHS meet regularly to pray for our students and each other, and we invite the Holy Spirit to inspire our work. Students have many opportunities to grow spiritually in their four years at Notre Dame. Every year, students attend a required class retreat. Once a month, students attend an all-school Liturgy. There are weekly Campus Ministry events that students are invited to participate in that offer a variety of activities to help students grow in their relationship with Christ. The Eucharist is reserved in the chapel and it is open throughout the day for prayer & reflection. Opportunities are provided for our students to connect with the School Sisters of Notre Dame, with whom we share a campus, to learn from their lives of selfless service to God and God’s people.
