Celebrating Roshel: Notre Dame High School’s Model of Justice Award Winner

CONGRATULATIONS Roshel - Notre Dame High School’s Model of Justice Award Winner from the Archdiocese of St. Louis!

Roshel, we are honored to recognize you as this year’s Model of Justice Award recipient. Your dedication and grace inspire us all. You truly embody what it means to live a life of justice, serving as an ally and celebrating the beauty of our differences.

Roshel has gone above and beyond in her efforts to create a more inclusive and respectful community. As a key member of the Student Diversity Committee, she played a pivotal role in developing the conversation norms that now guide discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion at NDHS. Her leadership extended to presenting these norms to faculty, staff, and students, fostering meaningful dialogue and understanding.

A cornerstone of her journey has been her involvement with the Unite 4 Justice conferences over the past four years. Reflecting on this experience, Roshel shared, “Being at the conferences has made me more conscious of what I say and do for those around me. I’ve learned that I can’t just be stagnant in change; I want to be a vessel for change. I strive to inspire others at NDHS to do the same.”

Her impact doesn’t stop there. Roshel has consistently dedicated herself to serving others—locally, within the Notre Dame community, and beyond. Her passion for volunteering and uplifting children is a testament to her kind heart and humble leadership.

We are proud to celebrate Roshel, a remarkable young woman whose four years with us have been defined by her unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. Through her actions, she has shown us the importance of understanding and appreciating our differences while creating opportunities for others to learn and grow.

Congratulations, Roshel! We can’t wait to see how you continue to make the world a better place.
