Happy Catholic Schools Week!

Calling all alumnae! What is one thing you wish you would have known as a freshman at ND that you know now? What is one piece of advice you would give your junior or senior ND self? 🤔 If you have a good answer and like making TikToks, send amcarroll@ndhs.net an email with the subject line: TIKTOK and find out how you can pay it forward...oh, and there might be a chance to win some swag for yourself too! 💙

Our beautiful campus covered with beautiful snow! ❄️💙

Just 10 days until the Class of 2025 starts their journey with Notre Dame!

Congratulations to Mary Newsham '21 who received the Martin Luther King Jr. Model of Justice Award this past Sunday! Mary is a young woman of deep conviction and faith. She has a passion for social justice and is not afraid to act and speak for the poor and oppressed. ND is very proud of her determination and enthusiasm for justice and service!

The Annual Catholic Appeal invites high school juniors to participate in an essay scholarship contest each year. Congratulations to students Lucy Graves, Lani Nilges and Emma Schrick who were the scholarship recipients for ND! Their essays addressed why it is important to participate in the appeal, how they practice stewardship in their life and how people in the archdiocese are impacted by the ACA. Way to go, ladies! 💙

The show must go on! Tickets for our rescheduled LIVE STREAM performance of Nunsense (A Musical Comedy) on January 14, 15, & 16 are on sale now. Visit www.ndhsperformingarts.com to buy your tickets!

Happy Monday and welcome back to campus! We are looking forward to another successful and safe semester of in-person learning together.

It is hard to make sense of the difficult times we are witnessing in our country. As a sponsored ministry of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we remain loyal to our mission by empowering our students to peacefully transform the world around them and to be socially-just leaders. As a Catholic institution, Notre Dame High School prays that God's love and grace will guide us through these moments, heal us, and bring us peace.

Welcome back! How was the first virtual day after your much-deserved winter break? Notre Dame can't wait to see what the new year and new semester will bring. We missed everyone — see you all in person next week!

A year full of challenges and blessings (and lots of yard signs) — we are thankful for every moment we shared with you! Notre Dame is ready to move #EverOnward into 2021! #TopNine2020

During the month of December, @ndstuco__ hosted a diaper drive for the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank. Our students donated over 10,000 diapers and collected an additional $700. Our diaper tree was a wonderful addition to our Christmas decor too. Way to go, ladies! 🎄

In the fall, some of our students spent the afternoon raking leaves in an area neighborhood. Although opportunities this year have been limited, ND still found safe ways to serve our community. Please feel free to email lmiller@ndhs.net if you know of any service needs our girls may be able to help with. P.S. — ND students, winter break is a great time to get caught up on logging your hours!

Our annual ❄️ Winter Concert ❄️ was enjoyed virtually this past weekend! Notre Dame students shared their amazing talents and spread some holiday cheer with an array of Christmas songs and dances🎄🎶💃🎁 Beautiful job, ladies! If you missed the show, it will be available online until the end of the year. Just message us for the link!

We made it to the end of the first semester in the 2020-2021 school year and winter break has officially begun! Thank you to all our students, parents, faculty and staff for doing their part to keep our community safe and healthy. While this school year has looked a little different, we are so grateful to have successfully been back in person with our ND family. Have a restful, joyous and safe holiday! Only one more day of final exams before winter break begins for our ND students! Shoutout to the counseling department for setting up these awesome “Relaxation Stations” in our cafe for the ladies to use before or after their tests. What a great stress reliever. We are so proud of all the hard work we have seen this semester!

Our annual Winter Concert will be streamed this Saturday, December 19th at 7:00PM. If you would like to virtually attend, visit http://our.show/ndhswinterconcert2020 — click "Buy Tickets" to sign up for a FREE link to watch our students showcase their amazing talents!

🎶 It’s beginning to look a lot like...Cocoa & Cram! ❤️💚 Shoutout to @ndstuco__ for reinventing this beloved tradition so we could safely celebrate the last day of fall classes.

The Notre Dame Spirit Shop will be open next Thursday, December 10 from 3:30PM to 6:00PM for holiday shopping. If you would like to set up an appointment to shop instead (after school hours only) please email jwood@ndhs.net. Come check out our new spirit gear and holiday ornaments before they are gone!

Our campus ministry delivered Advent reflection kits to each ND student on the first day of the new liturgical year. A virtual Advent prayer service was also held for each class to kickoff the joyful waiting period for Christ that we are entering. During our spiritual journey through Advent, let us connect with God and reflect on the celebration that is to come.
